So I the domain was down for bit there…
… yeah those Estonians sure were fast to close my domain after I forgot to pay them in time.

Weekend’s painting process
I’ve been studying some underpainting theory and now I’m trying to apply what I’ve learned to practice. I continued on working with the nurse painting as well adding some more shadows, doing the ‘Emergency’ text box and altering the fire axe to be more recognizable.
Here are some progress shots, I took with my phone’s camera:
New painting WIP
I’ve been working on this painting for a while now. Didn’t use any reference for this to make it look more simplified or cartoony. Made some changes for the skin color today and still I should fix the fire axe or whatever it is. Also there are clearly some spots that haven’t even been touched so I’ll work on them as well.
Now off to bed!

Hi all,
Here’s some things I’ll soon add to the site.

For now I can say that I’ve started painting with oils. Never used them before but I’m getting the hang of it. The picture below is my first piece that is nearly finished. It’s quite small but bigger pieces will soon follow.
